Alex Barlow is a native of Nederland, Texas.
He has devoted his practice to complex litigation on behalf of victims. His specific areas of practice include toxic torts (benzene, asbestos, silica, and chemical exposure), environmental property damage, oil and gas royalty disputes, nursing home malpractice, and commercial litigation. Alex also represents a Fortune 500 company in ad valorem tax litigation. During his career Alex has won verdicts on behalf of his clients in the areas of toxic tort, nursing home malpractice, and commercial litigation.
Alex is a member of the State Bars of Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma. He is a current member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. He is also a Board Member of the TTLA Advocates.
He earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree from the University of Texas as a participant in the prestigious Plan II program and his J.D. with honors from The University of Texas School of Law. In law school he was the recipient of the George E. Seay Endowed Presidential Scholarship and a member of the Order of the Coif, a national honorary society for law school students.
